The Municipal Chief Executive of Sagnarigu, Honourable Mariam Iddrisu has lauded the Chief of the area, Nyab Sganarigu Naa for his continuous support to the assembly towards the development of the municipality. The Sagnarigu MCE in her quest to see every girl get educated in the municipal was given 6 acres of land by the chief to build the Girls Model School in Sagnarigu.
‘’I would like to say a big thank you to him he is a development-oriented chief’’ ‘’the chief is always ready to give up his land to the assembly for a developmental cause.’’ She continues She was quick to add that the assembly intends to make good use of the land.
‘’we don’t want to leave it at the basic level, we want to continue building to the senior high school level’’.
With the help from ActionAid Ghana, the assembly has built a three-unit classroom block, staff common room, library, toilet facility, a borehole and an ICT lab for the people of Sagnarigu. She has also promised to continue to the Senior High Level to the girls the opportunity in her municipality to further their education.
