Gafachi who has taken a hiatus from northern music is coming back with an album and tells fans to expect something different from him. Speaking in the studios of Sanatu Zambang, the Zolahood rapper said he had to lay low to restructure and work to come out with something good for the fans.
Gafachi whose new album Beard Man will be out in September said his new work is about life and realities in our current happenings. He is taking a different dimension from what his fans know him to be doing.
This time around, he is mixing it up with a lot of genres like afro-pop and the like. Gafachi was all praise for Fad Lan in the studio and said ” I don’t know how to celebrate him”.
According to him, Fad Lan did something that he was not able to do, thus let the industry accept hardcore rap which he believes is good for the growth, and hence, Fad Lan should be celebrated for his work.
”I am not looking at the age. If you are making an impact, I should celebrate you. It is all for the north”

Now with the new trends and what is happening, Gafachi attributes it to the fans. With the power shift from a few people called the industry players, musicians are now able to explore, get innovative, be creative, and produce music of their kind.
This change he says ”It is not the industry players that have accepted it. It is the fans. Now they are well informed and they would not take any bulls**t from anyone”
