COVID-19; UDS Microbiologist, caution Transport Unions, and Banks

The COVID 19 menace is NOW here with us and I have some few advice to offer to prevent the spread of the disease.

1. All operators of commercial vehicles or the Transport Unions in the country MUST acquire the infrared thermometer at their stations to check each passenger before boarding the vehicles especially the AC buses.

2. All banks in the country MUST be made to provide alcohol-based sanitisers by ALL ATMs as well as any common point of contact that customers use.

3. Banks are also encouraged to use the infrared thermometer to check all workers and customers before entering. The security personnel can be trained to use the thermometer.

4. Everyone should endeavour to acquire an alcohol-based sanitiser for personal use.

5. Commercial places without automatic doors MUST endeavour to provide alcohol-based sanitisers for people to use after touching the door handles or door knobs.

6. Avoid touching contact surfaces especially those that are used by the general public.

7. Make sure you sanitize your MOBILE phones and REMOTE CONTROLS regularly.
