For Alhssan Adamu, a student of the University for Development studies went into poetry because she wanted to kill her shyness of not been able to speak in public.

According to her, she was the senior prefect back in senior high school, hence she used to be called unannounced to give speeches but that still did not do the magic for her. She took the bold step to look for the remedy of her illness when she got admission to study at UDS. There she contacted I am Saani.

Alhassan Adumu joined the Budding studios to become a motivational speaker and that is when she started her poetry, on campus.

Alhassan Adamu is a feminist, a poet, and a gender activist. She believes that one does not need to wait for an organization or persons to come and change the society, but everyone is a change-maker and can help change what they do not like about their environment.
