A 30-year-old videographer, Abass Safian says his drawings are inspired by his environment. He liked to draw what he sees around him.
Due to his profession as a videographer, he has had plenty of opportunities to travel and these travels have helped him to come up with plenty of drawings.
According to Safian who is popularly called Alisco says art has always been part of his life growing up. He started drawing at an early age and this passion for art has led him to study visual in senior high school.
His take on the SSCA Tamale Challenge, Safian believes is a good opportunity to bring young artists together to showcase their talents.
This platform he says will help bring unknown artists in the region to the limelight and help in the building of these people’s careers as well.
Safian also shares his thought if he should get training from the SCCA. ‘’Good thing for me. It will boost my creativity and career as an artist’’.
