Residents of Kulnyevilla in the Sagnarigu Municipality are giving Government one month ultimatums to fix their deplorable road or face their wrath. According to the residence, the bad roads are a death trap and pose danger to commuters.

 Addressing a press conference, a member of the community, Dakpema Deima Naa Adam Musah said, it is only during election that they received attention from governments.

He said successive parties have always abandoned them as soon as they win election. He said after the ultimatum if nothing is done, they will chase any politician who comes to the community for campaign. Deima Naa Musah said the road was graveled in 1993 and has still not been tiered per the contract. He said, it is the only road leading Kunyevile and three other communities.

According to the chief, they are predominantly farmers and the nature of the road is hindering the transportation of foodstuffs. Deima Naa Musah appealed to city authorities to heed their call.

Some traders who spoke to justice news reporter, Hamza Mohammed said, they will not vote if their road is not fixed before next year’s election.
