An aspiring assemblyman for the Nyanshegu-Gumani Electoral Area in the Sagnarigu Municipality has organized a free eye screening for people in the electoral area.
An aspiring assemblyman for the Nyanshegu-Gumani Electoral Area in the Sagnarigu Municipality has organized a free eye screening for people in the electoral area. Mr. Iddrisu Abdul Somed underscored the need for people to constantly check their eyesight to ensure its clarity, saying the cost involved is, however, making it impossible for many people to do so. As a result of his lobbying ability, he has been able to get some eye specialists to come to the area to take care of people’s eyes in order to prevent blindness as some of the blind cases could have been prevented if early detection had been done. Mr. Somed added that this, not the first time he is bringing this to the electoral area, but efforts were made and the people of Kunkundan Fong and Gumani have already got their eyes checked and treated and tomorrow’s event will be for the people of Nyanshegu.
He, therefore, called on the people to vote for him in the December 17 district assembly elections so that more of such intervention will be made towards the development of the area.
