The Member of Parliament for Tamale North, Alhassan S Suhuyini has handed over two apartment nurses’ quarters to the Kanvili Health Center. The quarters are expected to ease the accommodation needs of the staff of the health facility. The MP also handed over a newly built “Sampaa” to the chief and elders of Kanvili.
The face-lift is also expected to help modernize the activities of the Palace. Speaking at the Kanvili chief Palace where a short ceremony was held to hand over the project, Mr. Suhuyini said the construction of the staff quarters was funded through his share of the Health Insurance fund while the Sampaa was funded through his share of the common fund. He said the building of the quarters will go a long way to facilitate health care delivery in the area.
