Sagnarigu to get a GIRLS SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

The Municipal Chief Executive of Saganarigu, honorable Mariam Idrrisu has disclosed her intention to build a girls model senior high school in her municipality before she leaves the office.

‘’ We just do not want to end there, we want to get a senior high school for sagnarigu because we were fortunate to be given six acres of land by the paramount chief of Sagnarigu. This is a land we intend to make good use of ’’

She made this known in an interview with Mariam Pagnaa on Sanatu Zambang. According to the MCE, she has already written to the Ministry of Education to help in realizing this dream for the immense benefit it will have on the people of Sagnarigu and the country at large.

‘’ I believe that the ministry understands the importance of girl child education in the socio-economic development of the nation.’’

Currently, the MCE with support from ActionAid has put up a three-unit classroom block, with a staff room, toilet facility, borehole, ICT lab, library, and another ancillary.

This land housing all this was given by the Sagnarigu Naa and this same land will have the girls model senior high school built on it.
