The Northern Regional Police CID is investigating a suspected case of kidnapping involving 29-year-old Jennifer Attakumah. The victim, who is a resident of Vitting, a suburb of Tamale went missing since 11th December but her family is suspecting one Faiza, a married woman who is dating Jennifer’s boyfriend and her husband identified only as Steven. The mother of Jennifer explains why they suspect the couple.
Jennifer’s junior brother accused the police of showing no interest in the case, claiming that the police have been dragging the case.
Meanwhile confirming the kidnapping case, a statement signed by the Northern Regional Crime Officer, Superintendent Kwabena Otuo Acheampong said, the police strongly suspect a case of kidnapping and are appealing to the public to be on the lookout and furnish the police with any information that will lead to her whereabouts.
