Maccasio is set to release a new single, Eyes On You featuring Stonebwoy on 9th October 2022 exclusively on Boomplay and would be available on other platforms beginning 12th October 2022. Eyes On You is going to be the first single to be released from his upcoming album, ‘Glory’.

In an interview with this writer, the rapper jack said the song is paying homage to Tamale women, his native town, celebrating the diverse beauty of women in Tamale. Maccasio is known to appreciate the beauty of nature and everything his hometown represents through his music. The song is produced by Blue Beats under Zola Music and 69 Entertainment.

The Glory album according to maccasio is to celebrate his success in the music industry with his fans and the people that love him. With the love and support that he has enjoyed in the industry, he says ‘’it is not everyone that is lucky enough to have the people support. We grew up thinking it was only the southern-based artists who could be successful in music but now we are an example of successful musicians in the northern region of Ghana’’ On the 12th of November, 2022, Maccasio will stage a concert at the Aliu Mahama Sports stadium in Tamale for his Album, Glory.

Over the last few years, the northern region has seen the rise of artists changing the game in the music industry, giving hope to thousands of youth that they can make it in their region if only they believe in their talent. One such export is Maccasio who has risen above all doubts and criticisms from fans and entertainment pundits in the town.

Speaking to Sanatu Zambang Writers Retreat team ahead of the launch of his Glory Album, the Oshilankpe hit maker bemoaned the lack of support from authorities in developing the arts industry in the northern region. According to Maccasio, the necessary investments and structures that need to be there for arts to thrive in the region are not there. The lack of these structures he says does not create enabling environment for them, thereby killing the youth’s talents.
