Just thirty days before Ghanaians go to the polls to elect both presidential and parliamentary candidates, the NDC Tamale Central Constituency Secretary, Umar Abdul Razak Golden Boy has claimed that, when elected as President, his Excellency John Dramani Mahama will fix all problems facing Ghana permanently.

He made this claim during a podcast session at the studios of Sanatu Zambang with Mohammed Abdul Raafi, Abdul Razak Golden boy was of the belief that the next NDC administration under the leadership of JDM will focus on solving the problems of the nation permanently.

This thinking he says is influenced by the party’s manifesto which they called the people’s manifesto. According to him,

” This manifesto is not an NDC technocrat thinking. We went to the people and they told us what they want and that is what John Dramani Mahama is going to do”.

He further explained that to achieve this vision, the next JDM administration is going to use ten billion dollars in all sectors of the economy which they term as the big push. This big push he says will be using you to solve the hospital’s deficit, road deficit, school deficit, and other essential that is needed to improve the quality of life of Ghanaians.

This infrastructure development he says will translate into massive job employment in the country and play a big part in reducing youth unemployment. With the primary health care that is promised by JDM, he says this was requested by the people and as a socialist party, they are there to serve the needs of the people.

In their interactions with electorates, they realized that, even when it comes to the national health insurance, the not so well to do family finds it difficult to register and also renew their cards.

What the next NDC government seeks to do is to make primary health care free and accessible for all in the country irrespective of their social standing. This primary health care delivery will only be possible with health facilities and also ultra-modern health equipment with trained health professionals which the next JDM administration will prioritize.

This saying can be back with his first term achievement when he went on rampant building hospitals all around the country and his vision translated in the country fight against the deadly Coronavirus.

When it comes to agriculture, The next JDM administration is promising to improve the agriculture value chain in the country. According to Abdul Razak Golden Boy, while the government will invest heavily in farmers to improve their yields. He is also going to improve the agribusiness to help curb post-harvest losses by farmers. This agribusiness is not just about preventing post-harvest losses but also creating jobs for the youth in the agric sector of the economy.
