The Sagnarigu Municipal Education Director, Samata Mahama has praised Member of Parliament for the Tamale North Constituency, Alhassan Suhuyini for his continuous support to the growth of education in the area.
She said this when the MP handed over educational materials to selected schools in the municipality, describing the gesture as “selfless contribution to education”, adding that it has impacted tremendously to teaching and learning in the area.
The municipal director described the Tamale North legislator’s efforts toward education in his constituency as “more than enough”.
Mrs. Samata was speaking at a ceremony to present assorted educational materials to the Sagnarigu Municipal Education Directorate for onward distribution to beneficiary schools.
Alhaji Suhuyini for about the 5th time, donated 250 dual desk, 5000 exercise books, text books with past questions, 100 pieces of school uniform and 100 school bags to the education directorate for onward distribution to beneficiary schools.
The MP also donated office furniture and printer to aid the work of the education directorate.
Mrs. Samata who received the items commended the MP for his kind gesture, urging the Head Teachers of the beneficiary schools to make sure the items are used for its intended purpose.
Alhassan Suhuyini, reiterated his commitment towards enhancing quality education in the municipality.
