She is sick and can hardly speak clearly for one to hear her well and now she is struggling to get the man who has impregnated her to take responsibility for the pregnancy and take care of her and her unborn child.
That is the story of a 20year old epileptic patient who has allegedly been impregnated by a watchman who slept with her several times in a church at Bilpela, a suburb of the Tamale Metropolis.
The girl who we have decided to call Adwoa for the purposes of this story claims the security man slept with her three times and gave her two cedis on each of the three occasions.
Adwoa who identified the man who impregnated her as one N-Yeba Aliru alleged that, he slept with her on the three occasions inside Bilpela, where she lives.
A very disturbed and visibly depressed Adwoa tells Tudu Lahabali Kpana in an exclusive interview she just wants N-Yeba Aliru to accept the pregnancy.
But the family of the girl says the man has refused to take responsibility for the pregnancy, claiming he has never had anything to do with Adwoa.
According to the father of the girl, who identified himself as Nurudeen, the man claims he had performed a hernia surgery and was told by doctors that, he cannot impregnate any woman again, hence he could not have gotten her pregnant.
He tells Tudu Lahabali Kpana even when they summoned the man before the local chief, Mba Aliru denied the allegations leveled against him.
But is it possible for someone who has been told by doctors that he cannot make babies again to impregnate a lady?
