The NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Tamale Central Constituency, Dr. Ibrahim Anyars has organized a free medical outreach program for residents of the area.

 Over 5,000 people were screened for various ailments, with some treated whiles others were referred to the hospital for further examination and treatment. This is the third time the NPP parliamentary candidate has organized a health screening program for the people of the area.

 The 2020 Tamale Central NPP Parliamentary Candidate told Radio Justice the health of the constituents is important to him, hence his decision to always organize the health screening to check people’s health. Dr. Anyars urged all residents to take advantage of the health screening, noting that it is opened to all regardless of the political party they belong to.

Dr. Anyars is confident the people of the constituency will give him the mandate to lead them at the 2020 polls.

Vice-Chairman of the NPP Global Medicine Team, Dr. Kofi Asamoah who led the medical team to the region for the program said, they have not recorded any serious illness among the people they have screened apart from malaria and general body pains.  Dr. Asamoah urged residents to be wary of the Cerebro-Spinal Meningitis (CSM) disease, advising them to drink more water this dry season.
