Plan International Ghana has organised a three-day Participatory Institutional Assessment & Planning (PIAP) workshop for Savannah Integrated Development Agency Ghana. This training workshop took place at the premises of SWIDA-GH from the 19th of November to the 21st of November 2020.

Plan International Ghana is funding SWIDA-GH Women-LEAD Project which is under the Plan’s Women’s Voice & Leadership (WVL) Programme.  The PIAP workshop took the staff of SWIDA-GH through a self-assessment journey, capacity building on how to get results for their organization.

The PIAP Workshop with Plan International saw the facilitators engaged staff of SWIDA-GH in a self-reflection process as well as an in-depth assessment of staff and the organization’s strengths and weaknesses.

To identify these strengths and weaknesses of SWIDA-GH, a survey was conducted and the result showcased where SWIDA-GH was lacking beginning. With the help of the facilitators, SWIDA-GH came up with a work plan to help the organization better understand their working environment and help them execute their project to make an impact.

This PIAP workshop by Plan International Ghana will be replicated across the country with its partners in the Women’s Voice and Leadership project funding from Global Affairs Canada.
