Tamale based Journalist and General Manager of Sanatu Zambang Studios, Zakaria Rahama has called out the Northern Regional Minister, Alhaji Shani Alhassan Saibu, saying that he does not inspire hope in the youth.
According to her, the Minister’s public demeanor and speeches do not give any hope in his people.
This she said has led to people in the region losing trust in his leadership.
‘’I think this current Northern Regional minister does not inspire hope. From his talks, his demeanor and speeches does not inspire hope.” she told Justicefmonline .
The General Manager of Sanatu Zambang added that “And for us in this region, we want leaders who inspire hope and if you are not able to inspire that hope, then, there is not going to be progress in your term. People are going to lose trust in you.”
Ms Rahama was commenting on the conduct of the Regional Minister in recent times.
The Minister has particularly come under criticism for his style of dressing, his media commentary and most recently, his alleged role in the arrest of the Tamale Technical University’s TESCON President, Sayibu Ibrahim for his comments about how the Minister dressed to meet President Akufo-Addo at the Tamale Airport on Sunday.
The Journalist said the Minister has “not realised that [people have lost hope in him] yet, advising that Alhaji Shani Alhassan Saibu needs to “re-strategise and come back again.’’
