WizChild describes Fancy Gadam as a legend
WizChild has become the latest musician to endorsed Fancy Gadam as a legend. The Kum hitmaker made this statement at the studios of Sanatu Zambang on the HotSpot Live program when asked about his collaboration with Fancy Gadam on their Bon Taali hit single.
The singer’s first response was ‘’He is a legend. What he has done is big. People have done things but what he has done is very huge. I am not the only one who can acknowledge that.’’
Without stopping there, the musician who recently adjourned the Overall artiste of the year at the Northern Entertainment Awards 2021 narrated his first interaction with Fancy Gadam on the phone, his excitement and who actually owns that particular song, Bon Taali
‘’I was very excited, I never expected him to have my number or even call me. But he called me and was like ‘this is Fancy’. And he asked me to come to their studio. That, he has a beat that he wants us to work on. The day I met him personally, was the day we did the song. After the song, I was putting pressure on him to release the song. He said he will release the song on the day of his show with Patpranking. So we were all waiting for that day and the incident happened. He had to conceal the show. Through that, we even rush and did a song for him, RIP song just to calm him down.’’

I started pushing him to release the song again and he said if I want the song I should release the song myself. So I was cool. If someone should give me such an opportunity, I don’t have to misuse it. I also saw the opportunity to shoot a video for it. I asked him and he said he is cool with the video. Then we shot the video.’’

But unfortunately for them, the song was leaked before they could release it and WizChild continued to release the video they shot for it and it became an instant hit in the region.

Episode 3 of Sanatu Zambang HotSpot Live saw WizChild joining the gang made up of Jamila, Network, and Rahama to talk about his latest EP, Tamale We Dey and also playing the game of dices.
WizChild in the conversation disclosed to the team that, his latest EP, Tamale We Dey is meant to tell foreigners what Tamale has and what is happening there. Tamale We Dey EP contains features with great upcoming artistes across the north.
For him doing these features meant a great deal because he was tired of being the only one performing at events and occasions. According to WizChild, this scenario was not inspiring him and he needed his brothers to be there for him and so he can also be there for them.
Though he did not disclose which his favorite track was on the EP, his talks showed he has a soft spot for Ntaali. Ntaali he says is about him and has asked music lovers to look out for that track.
