For close to a decade, Sherif Abdul-Mageed known in showbiz as Maccasio has continuously entertained and redefined the music scene in the northern region. He has churned hits upon hits with massive airplay on radio, nightclubs, weddings, naming ceremonies, etc.
In an interview with Sanatu Zambang, the rapper who is set to release his fifth studio album ‘Glory’ claim the album is to celebrate his success in the industry. He expressed his gratitude to his fans and all those who have supported the growth of his career from the beginning saying
”I am very lucky to have reached this height in my career and all is made possible because of God and the loyal fans that I have ”.
According to the Ninsala hitmaker, ‘Glory’ album is a celebration of the success that God has bestowed on him and he wants to do it with his loyal fans and the general public. Considering his humble beginnings, Maccasio says he is grateful for those blessings from God because not everyone has that kind of success in their music career.
‘’Anyone who goes into the music industry wants success and not everyone in the industry gets that kind of success they dream of. Sometimes you plan and things would not go the way you planned. Looking at the success that I have choked over the last years, it has been very impressive considering where I am coming from.’’

‘’We use to see only southern-based musicians succeed in this job but now, we are also enjoying this work. It is a blessing from God. You look at where I am able to go and the kind of people I meet every day, it is through this music. There you will realise it is a blessing from God. And when God blesses you, you need to celebrate so that people know what God has done for you.” He added.
Maccasio is set to organise the Glory Album concert on the 12th of November, 2022 at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale. Currently, Eyes on You featuring Stonebowy, the first single on the album was exclusively released on Boomplay on the 9th of October, 2022 and made available to all other platforms on the 12th of October, 2022.
