HOPin Academy played host to a stakeholder meeting in Tamale to discuss the role of Web Technology for Digital transformation of the local economy for Job creation and Economic Development.
The stakeholder meeting was in partnership with Ghana Tech Lab and with support from Master Card Foundation Young Africa Works Project, World Bank Africa and Ministry of Communications Ghana.
It gathered young entrepreneurs and change-makers within Tamale to discuss the way forward in this our ever-changing technological world. MacCarthy Mac-Gbathy, Co-founder and CEO of HOPin Academy gave the opening remarks. His Deputy Ahmed Saalim Iddrisu spoke about the Ecosystem Results and Mr. Alhassan B Yunus gave the Keynote address.
Other speakers included Iddrisu Ayatullah, Khadija Alhassan, Dayan Abdul Razak, Awal Sulemana, and Abdul Raafi Mohammed.
At the end of the engagement, participants were tasked to come out with policy recommendations during the break out session for higher consultation and implementation by relevant bodies in the country.
