Northern Innovation Lab in collaboration with Ghana Tech Lab is organizing an intensive web development training for unemployed graduates.
This training is line with the current global trends in digitization. To be able to cope up with these transitions and be able to take up some positions or work efficiently, basic knowledge in digital media and processes are very vital. Hence, the need for the training.
The digital skill training program is focused on providing young people between the ages of 18-35 with competent skills in web development and experiences that are relevant to starting their own startups or securing jobs.
The training program will expose students to areas such as web development, mobile apps developments, etc.
Stipulated modules under the training are;
- Full stack web development
- Advance UX/UI course
- Advance Backend course
- Introduction to Mobile app development with React js
For applicants, one must first be a Ghanaian to apply. You must not be employed or enrolled in national service or NABCO and should have by the time of application completed senior high school or tertiary education. Applicant must also be between the ages of 18 and 35.
Applicants must be committed to dedicate their time fully in the training period and should have an entrepreneurial mindset and be ready to learn.
All applications would be treated equally with no bias. Applicants who do not meet the above criteria, would not be considered. Location of applicants would also be considered in the selection process.
Shortlisted applicants would be contacted via phone for an interview before they meet a panel physically for the final interview. Females are highly encouraged to apply!
