Cisse crowned UDS-NYC Miss Amaraba 2020

Nine contestants from the 2020 Miss Amaraba battled for the crown, a refrigerator, hampers and of course the bragging rights. Racheal, Mary, Cheryl, Tchitarah, Franca, Poka, Rukaya, Nimacute and Cisse were the contestants. They were examined based on their projects, communication skills, and talent. These pretty damsels showcased to the judges and the whole house what they got to be the next queen for 2020 Miss Amaraba.

The ladies exhibited great projects that if they are crown the winners they would embark on. Sanitation, Talent and Entrepreneurship, Inferiority Complex, Advocate for a crash helmet, Open Defecation, Advocate for Depression and Suicide, Skin Bleaching, Menstrual Pain and Cycle and Drug Abuse were the projects the ladies bring forth to the judges and the audience.

The panel of judges asked the ladies thought-provoking questions about their respective projects to get more clarity. Apart from the judges’ score which was 70%, the public was given 30% to vote their favorite contestants and 10% from the judges’ score was also given to chaperons. After several stages of competing, the judges adjudge Cisse as the winner of the 2020 Miss Amaraba Beauty Contest. She walked home with a refrigerator and hampers. She is also going to be supported to undertake her project which is Drug Abuse.

Meanwhile, 1st runner up, 2nd runner up and the 3rd were awarded to Ruki, Cheryl, and Poka respectively. They also went home with hampers.
