Top 10 key highlights made by Hon Alhaji Alhassan Suhuyini yesterday. Listen via our podcast 📻: https://soundcloud.com/…/vote-no-at-the-dec-17th-referendum…
📍There’s too much politics at the national level, which turns to slow down development. Communal labor will be ineffective is we politicize our local governance system so let’s vote NO at the December Referendum.
📍 I disagreed with the recent trend of opinions that, —as an MP, their duty is solely lawmaking and parliamentary assignments. As an MP, you are equally responsible for the development of your constituency.
📍The MMDCEs received common funds, a portion of the common fund is giving to the MPs. The MMDCEs common fund is much much bigger than the MP’s common funds. Nevertheless, my team and I try to be part of the little development in our constituencies.
📍 This nurses and midwives quarters for the Kanvilli health center will improve health care in the area and health workers security
📍The Fuo toilet project will help improve sanitation in the area.
📍All these projects are made possible because of the MPs common funds, so one shouldn’t tag these projects as NDC projects but rather a community project to foster the development
📍 I’m more interested in how these facilities will be used. With regard to finance and construction, the assembly has the necessary documents.
📍 I have represented the people of Tamale North Constituency very well in Parliament. And there’s evidence of my works across the constituency and evidence of my presence and participation in Parliament.
📍 My party is not in power, however, we have worked in almost all the communities in my constituency, we have donated health materials and build structures for some number of health facilities in the Tamale North Constituency
📍 Politics is not about lies and propaganda. You can bear witness that even before I became MP, I embarked on several projects, the interesting side of this story is that, during this period many augured that, Suhuyini is not an MP nor DCE, so he can’t embark on such projects.
Today we hear my opponent is constructing a road, yet he is neither an MP nor DCE.
