Tiyumba Hope Foundation is set to hold a Regional Teen Summit in the capital of Northern Region, Tamale on the 10th of April, 2021.

The event is expected to have seasoned speakers who are actively involved in the activism circle in the region. The thematic area to speak on include, Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights, Responsibilities, gender-based violence, drug abuse, and a lot of issues that young people are facing today especially in this pandemic period.

Tiyumba Hope Foundation, is a non for profit, non-partisan organization that seeks to empower young people especially female to be assertive, motivated and aim higher in life while also building their capacity.

The organization has over the past years, fed orphans, widows, organized health screening, went on a sensitization campaigns to talk about gender-based violence as well as  Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights, Responsibilities. They have also provided sanitary wear for underprivileged girls in rural communities.  

They have also paid money to release a women who was sentence to eight years in prison for stealing a phone. When arraigned to court, she was asked to pay Ghc 1,200 but was unable to pay. Upon hearing the story, Tiyumba Hope Foundation quickly came in and paid for the lady to be released. Before her sentence, she was a breastfeeding mother and spent three and a half years in prison.
