Ghana Tech Lab announces shortlisted applicants for Web Development training

The Ghana Tech Lab and partners as part of processes for their forthcoming Web Development training, has announced shortlisted applicants for the said training.

This happened after a very competitive scrutiny of about 250 applicants. The 30 applicants selected, consist of 20 females and 10 males.

The training which will be commencing soon, will equip participants with digital skills that will help them scale up their ideas. By the end of the six-weeks long training, participants should have at least basic skills, if not advanced in any of the following;
Build a project on the training in focus

  1. Build a strong portfolio worthy of employment
  2. Acquire skills relevant in the market
  3. Develop teamwork skills
  4. Improving self-paced learning and performance
  5. Be a problem solver
  6. Identify career paths in the I.T industry

The Ghana Tech Lab, Pathways for Sustainable Employment (Pase) and Northern Innovation Lab congratulates all shortlisted applicants.

This training is line with the current global trends in digitization. To be able to cope up with these transitions and be able to take up some positions or work efficiently, basic knowledge in digital media and processes are very vital. Hence, the need for the training.

The digital skill training program is focused on providing young people between the ages of 18-35 with competent skills in web development and experiences that are relevant to starting their own startups or securing jobs.

The training program will expose students to areas such as web development, mobile apps developments, etc.
