Story; Hasana Sulemana

The novel Coronavirus which originated from Wuhan in China is now a fast killing disease around the Globe except for some few countries and still an ongoing viral pandemic, an infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome. Ghana’s first two cases of Covid-19 were confirmed on 12 March 2020 with two returnees from Norway and Turkey.

Since the confirmation of the novel virus, Ghana has received donations both in-kind and cash from various sectors. In addition, the award-winning Reggae Dancehall song of the year 2019 at the GMA in UK Sherif Abdul-Majeed also known as Maccasio (69 BOSS) was seen giving away hand sanitizers from Zogbeli to Lamakara link roads towards the Tamale-Aboabu market yesterday in the Tamale Metropolis.

Maccasio narrated by many “does what he thinks is good and not just to follow the masses”.

The 69 Boss does not have any song/music on the novel virus but has been seen giving away hand sanitizers and educating the public on measures on how to avoid getting infected by the deadly disease. This gesture should be emulated by many including individuals from various sectors in the Metropolis.
