Norsaac to collaborate with Artistes on “Disag’ya project”

The Enough project which is also known as “Disag’ya project” is a three (3) years project in collaboration with Sanatu Zambang studios which seeks to empower women, girls, men, boys as well as to influence to reduce sexual and gender-based violence in Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria and Mali and also include artist as part of the sex and gender-based violence campaign.

The project was first initiated in January 2019 and will be climaxed in December 2022. The Disag’ya project aims to target the local level, District, Regional and National levels in the country and beyond.

Creating an enabling environment for girls and women, claim and exercise to end sexual and gender-based violence and bringing change to the vulnerable members in the community are basic aims of the forum which will be coming off on the 10th of March, 2020 at the Radach Hall and Conference center in Tamale.

After a joint meeting today at the Norsaac premises with Sanatu Zambang, the artist to be included in the project thus, Diva 1, Memunatu Lardi, Amie, sound engineer (flames) and some selected staff members of Norsaac. The meeting came up with points for the musicians and a pledge for the forum coming off on the 10th of March, 2020.

Disag’ya project idea thus projects an outcome that will implement advocacy actions, make women and girls active participants in the policy reform and decision making processes and make the artists glow internationally, as well as gender-equitable.
