Affectionately called Abdel in the ink fraternity, Abdul-Hak Munkaila is a level 200 Social Change Communication student at the University for Development Studies. Abdel is interested in movies, reading, and writing.
In his early days in Senior High School, Abdel developed an interest in poetry and started writing poems of his own.
He does not just see spoken words as anything, but a medium through which he can educate, encourage and entertain his listeners.
Abdel intends to make poetry “a song on the tongues of every soul in the near future”.
He believes the art of poetry is not well appreciated much in the North, but if they get media attention, the public will fall in love with the art.
